Turning a bad moment
into community support.

A child’s lemonade stand was robbed. Shaggy used radio and local-news relationships to help the young entrepreneur’s story reach a much bigger audience.

After learning what happened, Brandon “Shaggy” Stokes interviewed the young entrepreneur on the radio and contacted the local news team, helping bring attention to the family’s story.

The response spread far beyond Chesapeake: neighbors and supporters rallied around the stand, and the story reached national readers.
